HOW TO PAIR YOUR SHOES

Are you confused about which shoe to pair for your outfit with? We are going to list out a few basic scenarios, which we come across in our everyday lives. 

Dark coloured bottoms + Light colored top – In this case, one should always opt for the light color flats/shoes. This would create a balance of tone and let your shoes stand out too. In case you pick a dark coloured shoe, then they are not getting the needed attention, as the dark tone is lost because of the dark bottoms. 

Creme cross strap flats

Light colored bottoms + Dark colored top – The similar logic as above, applies to this scenario. Always opt for color tone of your top. Here, it is a dark coloured (black/brown tones) shoe. 

Tan Greek flats

Printed fabric dresses/jumpsuits/kurtas – Since there is too much of design element going on your dress, pick a pair of plain similar palette of colour shoes for this outfit. You wouldn’t want your shoes also to be too high on style quotient  

Hardboard white flats

Plain dresses/kurtas – In this case, as your dress is simple pick a shoe, which can do all the talking. Experiment with bold prints and styles. This is the time, for your shoe to stand out. If it suits you, you can also pick some flashy/bling colored shoes to go on with your outfit. 

Jaipuri print red slip-on

Dual/multicolour dresses – When a dress has too many colours, then experiment and pick the colour which appears the least on the dress. This colour shoe would act as a contrast to your dress and would make both the dress and the pair of shoes striking. In case the dress has embroidery and other handiwork done in gold/silver or alike, then pick the shoes of the color of the handiwork.
